Hewlett Packard visit

The robotics class students had a chance to visit Hewlett Packard(HP) down in San Diego. The students got a tour of the facility and got to see the printer side of the company.

The day started off with a meeting and a picture. The students then separated into two groups and went on tours.

The students got to see the process of the Falcon ink cartridges being produced. The man told us that because of machines they were able to cut the cost in half to produce the ink cartridges.

The students got to tour everything from the chemicals it takes to produce the ink to the designers of the printers for the next 10-15 years. HP makes designs and 3D prints models of printers that will becoming out in future years.
