Nighthawk Robotics Wins and Qualifies for States

This past Saturday 4 NightHawk Robotics teams traveled to Orange Lutheran High School to compete against 42 teams in our fourth tournament of the year. This was our last shot to qualify for the CA State Championship.
After 4 qualifying matches Team 569D was in 1st place, 569B in 3rd place, 569C in 6th place, and 569A in 15th place out of 42 teams.
Team 569D chose Team 569C as their alliance partner and Team 569B chose Team 569A as their alliance partner for the playoffs in the hopes of qualifying multiple MVHS teams for the State Championship.
Team 569B and 569A performed very well but were beaten in the semifinals.

Team 569D also won the Judges Award and Drivers Skills Competition.
All in all we brought home 4 trophies and qualified 2 more teams for the CA State Championship in Pasadena on Feb. 14th.
